Light PaintingThis assignment I did light painting, I really enjoyed watching the demo awhile ago and I thought it was so cool. It was a bit of a struggle to get my camera to focus on the glass in some pictures but for trying something new I think my pictures came out good. f/4.8, 20 second shutter speed, ISO 110. I edited the clarity a little bit.

FoodThis weekend I did food, I decided on this because we were having my family over on Sunday to celebrate my birthday and my brother Diego's birthday. We made really good food and while making it I realized this was one of the choices to do for the photo assignments. f/5.6, 1/80 s, ISO 1100. I edited the temperature, whites and a little clarity.
Photoshop Open TutorialsThis photoshop assignment we got to look around on the internet and find tutorials we wanted to do. I liked this because we go to pick what we wanted to do and be creative and learn new things. I decided to do a double exposure for mine, I did two pictures and I think they're pretty okay.
Photoshop Panoramic'sDuring this assignment we took 3 or more photos and Photomerged them together to form one panoramic. Most of mine came out okay. I learned how to edit them together in photoshop and it was just a really cool assignment. It was kinda hard though to get pictures that merged well together but, I liked the challenge.
NatureThis weekend I had some time and decided to do nature for this assignment. I live on the other side of Millpond Park and my subdivision actually has a path out in the woods that opens up looking out over the Saline River and it has lots of little streams along the path. I thought that would be perfect to go and take pictures. I had fun walking back there with my little brother and I think my pictures turned out pretty okay. f/9, 1/400 s, ISO 400. No edits were made.
Black and WhiteThis week I decided to do black and white. This assignment was not my best, I feel like I could have taken more quality photos. I struggled a little with lighting and focus of the camera. I tried finding items in my house that had different colors and shades so the black and white wouldn't just be a bunch of grey tones. The background is my mothers's dress, I used it because its completely black. Overall I could have done better but I'm still proud of my work. f/8, 1/60 s, IOS 6400. I edited the picture to make it black and white.
Photoshop School contextWorking in photoshop is always fun. This assignment by far is my favorite, I liked being able to be as creative as I wanted and make the picture my own. I started off with just the simple picture of the front entrance to the school and decided to make the picture Star Wars themed. I like Star Wars, Darth Vader is my favorite, and I liked the idea of changing the background of the picture to be in space. Overall I like the out come of my picture.
MacroThis time I went with macro. During this assignment I found an old candle holder in my parents room with this cool design of bubbles, the background is printer paper and its sitting on a note book by my window. Honestly I love bubbles and the way they look. I really enjoyed getting up close to it and taking the pictures. Although I had some struggles with the camera focusing and some lighting issues along the way. I ended up editing the brightness and highlights in Camera Raw. I really think my photos came out good in the end though. f/5.3, 1/320 s, ISO 1600, I adjusted highlights, whites, shadows, and some clarity.
Photoshop CarI really enjoyed this photoshop assignment. During this assignment we used a photo taken by another student and edited it to make the photo better. On the left is the before and on the right is the after. Photoshop is fun to play around with, I learned how to remove backgrounds, use the clone and stamp tool and I learned how to adjust the levels to change the overall contrast of the photo.
Still lifeThis shooting assignment felt easier to do than the first. This weekend I was super busy so I decided to do still life because it was easy for me to be able to set up a subject to shoot and adjust the lighting myself. I spent a lot of time fixing and adjusting the lighting but finally liked the look of using my phone for light. I decided on these subjects because I really like they way they looked I saw them on display in my room and realized I forgot all about them there, so I decided to use them as my subjects. I used on old T shirt I found in my closet for the background and placed my subjects on top of a black notebook. This assignment was good, I learned during this shoot that using many different items at home, even old T shirts, could result in good pictures. f/5.6, 1/160 s, ISO 3200. I edited the shadows and blacks in this picture to create a solid background and increased the vibrance just a little.
